The hull and decks are composite construction with a timber laminated keel and ply/glass bulkheads. The owners wanted to retain the traditional look of timber using internal beams on white head linings combined with light weight ply foam glass panels for the wheel-house decks and fly bridge.

Carefully selected gel coated e-glass surfaces bonded to foam cores, where smooth gel coated finishes were needed for the entrance main bulkhead were chosen.

Successfully launched in December 2024 under the name ‘Legacy’ and heading up to the Marlborough Sounds on the top of the South Island for the summer.

Full boat review to be added later in the year.
