This design was commissioned by a repeat client and high end boatbuilder who wanted us to design him and his family a 28-foot Picnic style boat powered by an outboard that was visually hidden.
Designed for day trips or short weekends away around Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour and Hauraki Gulf our client wanted the simplicity of ply and glass for the build. Ideally a kitset set up.
A skilled and experienced sailor, his request was for a powerboat that had the style and grace of a classic but with the performance and simplicity of a modern build.
