Hull Form development and Sea-keeping Application
Formation's Maxsurf is part of a suite of specialist application used in the design and development of hull form. Maxsurf allows shape manipulation of NURBS Surfaces through a matrix of 'handles'. Multiple surfaces can be used to accurately represent deck, superstructure, keel and rudder surfaces .. and so on. This model can then be exported to a number of 2D and 3D CAD systems such as Concepts Unlimited for further development, drawing development, visualisation, velocity prediction, rapid prototyping and so forth.
