Kiwi Boat Works is a truly international sailboat manufacturer, formed with a simple goal: "To design and build a line of quality sport and cruising sailboats that perform well and are trailerable and affordable to most individuals and families"
Kiwi Boat Works has chosen to focus solely on trailerable sport and cruising sailboats as it is our belief that this market segment has largely been under-served for the past 25 years. Due to high land costs and environmental concerns, there have been very few new marinas built to meet existing, not to mention future demand. As a result, mooring and slips in several areas of the United States are difficult to obtain and costs have skyrocketed. Lake sailing in the midwest continues to gain in popularity, but the majority of boats being built today are simply not designed for ramp launching and retrieval.
