Dibley S900 Rhib begins Production
December 2006
The brief from
Sagittarius Sporting
Company's Marine Division was for a seakindly hull
form that would handle the most adverse conditions
under speed. A powerful aesthetic was required to
separate the design from other manufacturers and
models.
The S900 was designed to fit within a 40-foot container ... with the bags deflated. Working alongside Sagitarius Marines Vice President Paul Goddard, Dibley Marine's hull design has a moderately deep-V bottom incorporating wide chine flats and a low beam length ratio. The inflatable is D-shaped as opposed to the traditional tube shape which maximises internal space. Various internal and cockpit layouts are available including a console version and a cabin version with a small interior layout.
Production is under way at 'Sagittarius Marines' Chinese yard. Further models are on the design table.

L.O.A. 9.00 m 29 - 6"
